Detwusu Charter needed a brand identity that would resonate with Africa's intellectual and business elite while reflecting the depth, credibility, and influence of its thought leadership publications. The brand required a visual system that felt authoritative and distinguished, capable of elevating both the ideas it published and the people behind them.
The identity was built around a custom monogram that combines the letter D with a fountain pen nib, creating a symbol that represents both authorship and influence. Paired with elegant typography and a refined navy-and-gold color palette, the identity balances intellectual sophistication with a strong sense of prestige and permanence.
Beyond the logo, we developed a cohesive visual system designed to extend seamlessly across publications, stationery, branded environments, merchandise, and digital content.
